open-source shazam

I put “Shazam” into https://alternativeto.net and selected the “open source” filter. Not sure how good they are.

The songs are usually credited on Imdb.

If you're watching the movie, or just have ambient music around.

ListenBrainz (The Official ListenBrainz App) https://f-droid.org/packages/org.listenbrainz.android/

Hopefully you know of F-Droid.

Maybe Ambient Music Mod (Port of Now Playing from Pixels to other Android devices) https://f-droid.org/packages/com.kieronquinn.app.ambientmusicmod/ is of interest. I'm on a Pixel so not helpful to me.
