If you haven't read Dorohedoro, you should. Using music genres as an analogy, it's what I would describe as "psychedelic death metal" or "psychedelic noise rock". It's trippy but also brutally violent and sadistic. 10/10, would read again.
(Also sadly no, afaik those aren't real genres of music.)
