oh yeah, sorry - i was using a lemmy client that doesn't yet support bios, so i forgot they exist. you haven't used a button though : (

ye it's because my lemmy/my instance constantly complains about file size so i compressed them until lemmy accepted it

ah yes, lemm.ee also limits images to 100k. i generally haven't found it much of a problem; but webp usually works much better if you do it manually. that said i've heard good things about (but haven't used) squoosh

yeah very few apps support every feature as of yet, unfortunately. it's a cool feature though, as it shows all the cross-posts at the top (e.g.)
