"Wow, this tastes like hot Gatorade!"

[–] YerbaYerba@lemm.ee 5 points 9 hours ago

Microwave it in the bottle for extra flavor™

[–] nifty@lemmy.world 2 points 10 hours ago

Let us know how it goes

[–] Nougat@fedia.io 22 points 16 hours ago (2 children)

Now I want boiled Gatorade.

How about a nice mug of Dr Pepper?

[–] comador@lemmy.world 10 points 11 hours ago (2 children)

I sadly remember this stupid idea of Hot Dr. Pepper in the 70s.

It was as gross then as it is now, but some of my family actually still do this in Minnesota this time of year. Dr. Pepper, Lemon, Mint and a bit of Rum. Barf.

Does it pair with fish in jello?

[–] comador@lemmy.world 2 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 8 hours ago)

Shimp Jello maybe... Lutefisk can probably work too as I have some Minnesota Swedish family who would have that combo in a heartbeat.

For us, it's more of a desert drink mixed with Peacan Pie, Ambrosia salad or popcorn balls... typical Minnesota deserts lol.

I would try that.

I think there's something in the water and I've clearly lived in Minnesota for too long.

I just keep half full bottles in the car during summer.

[–] Nougat@fedia.io 5 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

What's a summer road trip without several bottles of warm "Gatorade"?

[–] Zron@lemmy.world 2 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

The yellow ones are especially exciting.

[–] jaybone@lemmy.world 1 points 9 hours ago

Urine for a surprise.

[–] Lexam@lemmy.world 2 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Ellie Kemper was a Veiled Profit debutante. So it would stand to reason she would like boiled Gatorade. I said what I said!

Boy it has been a minute since I’ve thought about Julian Smith

I feel like someone very recently posted a link to "Malk" somewhere on this loosely federated mess.

Hot Tang with cinnamon and clove. Pretty good.
