Divest your attention from these corporations, comrades. This includes regime change propaganda like the Atlantic.

Instagram's been given a slow death by Facebook. Logging into my old account, all it is is just videos and sponsored posts. Maybe 1 actual picture.

@yogthos So true. The last few times I've tried to log in, what I'm actually able to see has made it clear there's no point anymore.

@KelsonV @yogthos there's a better way. Use the following feed. I blogged about it a while back.

@donncha @yogthos That *is* helpful! So annoying that they hide it.

@KelsonV @yogthos best thing is there are no adverts too! It's amazing more people don't use it.

Its a great thing... I just hope people move to the fediverse, and not twitter.

Pixelfed has been refreshing. Sure it’s all strangers but it’s better than ads

@yogthos I had planned on moving all my photography away from Instagram and onto Twitter.

Instagram pretty quickly became the lesser of two evils, though. I'm experimenting with Pixelfed but there's not a critical mass of the people I want to share with in the Fediverse...yet.

I've been using Pixelfed for a little while now, and I find there are a lots of great accounts on there that are worth following nowadays. Also worth noting that you can follow Mastodon accounts as well. Tokyo Camera Club Mastodon has a lot of interesting accounts, for example:

Instagram's never appealed to me, but it appeals to me even less now than it ever had before.
