Heresy!
Wololo.
Slime Rancher
I would say definitely worth the 2 bucks. I wanted something I could play without having to pay attention to story, so it seems to fit the bill pretty well.
Factorio Space Age, but it wasnโt on sale.
Good buys... Cities:Skylines is great, but need some DLC for a good game experience.... Vanilla version of game is poor in content. Europa Universalis IV is a good game. You have a game for many hours and many DLC too...
- Final Fantasy 7 Remake
- DOOM + DOOM 2 (the old games)
- Psychonauts 2
- Kingdom Come Deliverance
- Command & Conquer Remasted Collection
- Halo - Master Chief Collection
Currently playing FF7 Remake for the first time, as a huge fan of the original. The other games I purchased is to make the pile of shame bigger and to play when I have some time -- I'm not ashamed! For some reason I did not have the original DOOM games on Steam; this was the perfect opportunity.
FF7R was such a blast for me. I especially loved the soundtrack. Looking forward to Rebirth coming to PC!
Gearbits Mafia Trilogy Dave the Diver
I'm enjoying the hell out of Gearbits. It's an indie mech shooter with Gundam aesthetics and fast-paced action like Armored Core for a base price of only $10.
Tacoma.
I bought half life 1 and 2 for a friend. Other than that I'll wait until the winter one which starts in a few days
Tunic Goat simulator 3 Murtop Hell divers dive harder
Prince of Persia the lost crown
Islets
I would have got more but I have too many games that I haven't gotten to yet.
Psychonauts 2 and it runs incredibly well on my Steam Deck docked to my 4k TV with high settings and 45% render resolution!
What a fun and lovely game, at a steal of a price.
It really brings me back to the kind of good that games used to be!
If you want similar old school meets new vibes, Celeste, Hollow Knight, Crosscode, and Another Crab's Treasure are all very fun. Crosscode in particular I just finished, and my gosh it was one of my favorites this year. Can't wait for the next game from the devs!
I love Crosscode! I don't think any of these games you mentioned scratch the same itch though. They're definitely great, but are missing the kind of simplicity of an old-school platformer that I've got in mind.
Lies of P. It was pretty good. 30 hours for the first run through. I wouldn't recommend it unless you've already played sekiro and some dark souls, as I think they do it better.
Nine Sols. Haven't started it yet.
I bought stuff from GOG instead because I don't want to buy a license of the games, I want to own them :)
Can't remember exactly how many games I bought, but min. 5 ^^
BioShock.
Enshrouded to play withia few friends. It's been a fun time so far.
I got Cities and the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy (with all DLC) for $13
I grabbed a bunch of games for Playstation, Steam and Switch. Some were cross platform so I could have gotten it for any of them. I grabbed a bunch of Atelier and Senran Kagura games, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, plus old JRPGs on a discount like Omega Quintet, Seven Pirates H, Mugen Souls, and Megadimension Neptunia VII. I do want to get the Romancing Saga 2 Remake but since I am still playing the Remaster on XBox, I decided to wait.
Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World is going to scratch my simcity itch. I am not ready to get into Cities Skylines 2, yet, I did play the first though. I had Estival Versus and Peach Beach Splash on the Playstation but they have graphical glitches on the PS5, so I got them again for Steam discounted. I also bought Theatrhythm for the Switch though I already had it for Playstation. Also got Patapon.
I bought Octopath Traveler II. I never thought I'd be playing RPGs again but ever since I've gotten the Steam Deck it's really changed the way I've gamed. I don't have long sessions because I play for about an hour before bed so I end up beating longer games in 3-4 months.
