the problem is there are levels to fast food. I see some suggestions that would be casual dining restaurants and then there are sorta shiek places like 5 guys or buffalo wild wings. What I consider fast food that has burgers around me is wendys, mcdonalds, burger king, arbys, culvers, and a&w. Of those I would consider wendys the clear winner. Culvers is a close second and three decades or more ago burger king would be in the running. I often forget how decent a wendys single is till they have a deal and I get one. One thing though is since the big inflation hit I have only picked up fast food single digit amount of times and usually because I just have to (last time was related to my wife being sent to the er from the doctors office during a procedure.)
πππWendy's Triple just can't be beat imo. Its is burger perfection and reasonably-priced compared to many other options, plus the patties are square so its psycologically more filling
I would take a triple whopper from the eighties over it but man burger king just crashed and burned by the end of the nineties.

It's subjective, so this is just a gross explosion of branding. Cheapest astroturfing ever.
I don't really have fast food money but there is this burger place in town that stays open til 2 am and has a mean veggie burger within biking distance. It's a nice treat, I'd reveal the name of the place but the details I have given already are identifying enough for my taste
Outback Steakhouse has awesome burgers. A close second IMO, is Smokey Bones burgers. They are mostly on East coast US.
I don't eat fast food.
