Artificial intelligence (AI) is intelligence demonstrated by machines, unlike the natural intelligence displayed by humans and animals, which involves consciousness and emotionality. The distinction between the former and the latter categories is often revealed by the acronym chosen.
I don't see the point personally. I have a few dead relatives that Id like to have had more conversations with, but I don't know if I'm interested in trying to talk to an AI version of them.
They're dead. Gone forever. I'd much rather accept that and accept their legacy as they left it.
