Wait. Questioning fascism is faux pas enough to lose your job now?

I mean, duh. The fascists won full control of the US government. They haven't even gotten started, these are just the social consequences. If this caught you by surprise you haven't been paying attention.

Whether you criticize zionists or Trump supporters, apparently criticizing hate movements has become socially unacceptable...

Is this the cancel culture the right was so against? I'm glad we'll have brothers in arms against such a thing.

It's so fucking infuriating that these snowflakes will absolutely lose their shit when someone who is not on the Reich speaks their mind and insults them, but any Reich wing CEO, owner, politician, ~~propagandist~~ "newscaster" can say whatever the fuck they want and they keep their job and act like it's all ok. I don't see Sean Hamface stepping down. I don't see the Twitter billionaire fascist stepping down. Who the hell cares about my pillow, but that fuck is still there.

People with integrity feel they need to step down and all we're left with are fascist assholes.

Resigned or pushed out by the board?

Unfortunate, but not surprising. Even if one isn't impartial, an editor must at least give the impression of being so. Especially for a non-partisan publication like SciAm.

But you can’t say it out loud. Somehow one side still needs to adhere to keeping the quiet part quiet
