Is there any way to see trees they’ve planted? Seems like a good effort but i’m always skeptical

As an alternative, the Ecosia search engine uses revenue from ads to plant trees, but I haven't done a deep dive on them as to how effective they are (Update: They actually seem to be pretty legit and effective from what I can tell).
There's also Ekoru, another search engine that instead focuses on using revenue for ocean cleanup and replanting seagrass, which is a better carbon sink than young trees, and is apparently a little more privacy friendly compared to Ecosia.
