Why doesn’t everyone laugh loudly and publicly in his face whenever he whines and makes his false claims? Grill him, ask him for specifics, over and over again and then laugh in his face when he fails.

Because like it or not, he has a lot of power, and is petty and vindictive. Most people do not want to upset a petulant billionaire who enjoys hurting people.

Yeah well that's fucking terrorism, why should we walk on eggshells to appease the school bully.

[–] Nougat@fedia.io 9 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Because even the school administration is afraid of the bully?

[–] Corigan@lemm.ee 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Not scared as much as backing him, as they are the ones to gain.

Yeah, there's definitely a whole rabbit trail of analogy adjustment that could be done there. Still, I firmly believe that a whole lot of prominent people who are sniffing Trump's farts are doing so maily from fear. (I'm looking at you Lindsey Graham.)

We shouldn't, but I understand on an intellectual level why people do. Would you be comfortable with an ex-president billionaire knowing who you are and having a grudge against you? Costing you your job and getting you blacklisted from future employment is like step 0 of the plan he'd enact against you. He would quite literally destroy your life.

Yeah this is how bullies work the illicit threat. And cowering to that threat is how you encourage them to take more from you.

Call the bluff and call it out when they try anything.

I get It, it's a real threat and nowadays we all are barely scraping by. But why are we all in this situation? Because of psychopaths like trump you have to break the cycle at some point or everything will be taken from you when you cower to the threat (show a bully they can take from you and they will come back and take more). You're damned if you do and damned a bit slower if you don't.

You resist fascism you don't bend to it.

An idiot invited a kid diddling liar to disseminate propaganda to an audience of morons

No Jamie fact checks? I didn't have a high opinion of Rogan already but by god he just went along with whatever Trump claimed.

Fucks sake.

Anyone got a clip?

[–] Policeshootout@lemmy.ca 5 points 3 weeks ago

I haven't listened to this and not sure if I will but.. Is this the only thing that went poorly for Trump on this? I've seen this posted all over but was Rogan on Trump's side with everything else?
