It popped up this morning and instantlly found the setting to disable it. Not even sure what the use case for Stories would be

Absolutely no one: "hey signal can u make ur app more like snapchat?"

Signal devs: "Sure thing we'll get right on that 👍 "

Great, this is what everybody needs! An egg laying wool milk sow! Bloated and fat, just how an SMS needs to be! Without SMS, of course.

I'm still using the good old Silence for SM, this is how an SMS app should be, degoogled!

Yay, another feature absolutely no-one wanted!

I do not understand, why chat apps are in need for “social media” features to blow the clients up as fuck. Instead, they kill the SMS compatibility to include other crap.

Super frustrating they spent time developing these Stories rather than improving the UI so all users were aware if a message was encrypted or normal SMS...Why I ought!! 😤

Oh you don't like a cryptocurrency and snapchat bundled with your "secure" messaging app?!?? What do you hate privacy or something!!?? /s

Signal Devs: "No, it's the users that are wrong!"

I think it's neat. I wouldn't use it but I know many people from my family that love the story feature of WhatsApp and use it daily. I still got hope that feature parity brings it closer to mass adoption.

I like it. Also it doesn't seem to be a complicated implementation.

I find it pointless!
