Since a key element of reducing inflation is convincing investors, companies and consumers to trust that the central bank can succeed, the study suggests female central bankers are at a disadvantage in generating public trust. This may also put the trend of more female central bankers at risk unless perceptions change.

I also don't trust male central bankers on inflation or the economy. It seems pretty clear they'll say anything that helps them enrich themselves.
