Then it's one of those games where the unused ammo gets discarded with the empty magazine (or ammo belt in that case)

Helldivers gives me panic every time I play another shooter and compulsively reload again.

I hate that mechanic, if they are going to go that "realistic" route then let you keep the half filled magazine

Operation Flashpoint used to let you keep partial magazines like that.

I've played too much Gaige. It's now instinct to rebind my reload key to somewhere far, far away from everything else, no matter what game I play.

Why, yes, I do hate myself, what gave it away?
