Hi,
we will check if an upgrade is doable, but before that we need to check if any Critical Bugs or Performance issues are affecting 0.19.5. Our focus is on Stability.
Thanks

Understandable, last I checked it seems very stable on all the other instances that use it.
Sadly this was told about other "Stable" releases like 0.19.1 or .2 where critical bugs where easily found that either broke federation and other stuff.
Many things doesnt even really affect the user but is a burden on the administrative / hosting side, for example the weirdly and buggy report list ( that is still on 0.19.3 ), it can be expected that we will again wait few releases for any critical bugs reported by the instances using it.
Jumping in as I discussed this with @MrKaplan@lemmy.world, he told me the main issues preventing LW to update where
https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/pull/2629 which isn't going to be released until 0.19.6, which breaks modlog filtering by moderator
https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/4693 is an issue that we might have to run a custom patch for to at least revert this for admins, although that would still harm mod experience then if we only implement an exception for admins
Yep those are some of the issues we have upgrading for now. + some performance issues we found on various other instances and we dont know if this will be affecting us even more with our size.

That one is a big one, look at dessalines being dismissive and giving terrible non-solutions (just restore to see removed comments and spam the modlog in the process, great solution buddy). Just give the option for mods and admins to see removed content without doing funny things.
Yeah I did that upgrade on my small instance, everyone said 1 and 2 were stable and fine - but it crashed multiple times daily for me until .3 came out
