How is that not a porn fetish yet

[–] fossilesque@mander.xyz 3 points 1 month ago

Oh, somehow I doubt it isn't.

Standing in front of a mirror....for science

[–] wesker@lemmy.sdf.org 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It's been about 30 mins now, any results?

[–] The_Che_Banana@beehaw.org 11 points 1 month ago

TBH the dude in the corner with a lab coat, pitri dish & PPE kinda threw me off my vibe...

Dare I ask for more context lol

I'm pretty sure these fish ejaculate whenever they see someone of the same species as them.

NOT FISH despite the name. Cephalopods are molluscs like snails! They are pretty smart and can have somewhat elaborate mating routines, and most species are somewhat careful about sperm sac delivery AFAIK. Lonely prisoners are not good behaviour models.

Very intriguing! Thank you for correcting me!

Cool, and if anyone wanted to dive into the cuttlefish rabbit hole, er, den, 10/10 would recommend any reading or documentary about them. Astonishing visual communication and camouflage, curiosity, problem solving, and more weird biology.

Do you want a playlist?

[–] EvilBit@lemmy.world 25 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I guess this is like #7 or so on the “Jobs that cause ejaculation” list?

[–] wesker@lemmy.sdf.org 18 points 1 month ago

#1: Mortician

[–] Fleur_@lemm.ee 7 points 1 month ago

You know I might regret saying this but that cuttle fish is literally me

[–] P1k1e@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

I love your job too
