This came up in my Youtube recommendations and is a super neat look at how things used to be. I can't imagine trying to cycle like that after drinking wine or beer ๐Ÿ˜‚

It also came up on my feed. I went looking for a source as fast as I could. Vive le tour (1962) Already have it on my library :)

A friend told me Louis Malle made some pretty good films. Available on Criterion Channel with a free trial.

One of my favourite films of all time is Stars and Watercarriers also has this dash for drinks. And a marvellous sequence in the time trial without music - only the sound of the bike, then strings, then the crowd at the finish. Marvellous. I have watched the film over and over. Enjoy. D
