Please don't act like the german conservative party:

The CDU [german conservative party] lodged a criminal complaint against Wittmann after she told the party about a security vulnerability in the CDU-Connect election campaign app. (source)

Shouldn't the last guy who's thrown out of the window be the one carrying the correct message of fixing it ASAP?

[–] thetreesaysbark@sh.itjust.works 22 points 2 months ago

Is this a case of the German stereotype getting the joke wrong?

You put the wrong people out the window in the meme.

[–] cron@feddit.org 58 points 2 months ago (3 children)

I did it both ways, but I wanted to post the more positive version.

[–] EtAl_isGitch@lemmy.world 42 points 2 months ago (1 children)

But the negative one actually makes sense.

But the point of the meme is that the reasonable opinion gets thrown out the window so that just the worst people are left in the company.

With that in mind and the context you posted it, the first doesn't make sense but the second does.

Edit: okay it makes sense if the first is how you want them to act in a perfect world.

So your artistic process is just to exhaust a given space of all possible permutations and allow memespace to ignore the shitty ones and amplify the good ones?

Typically it takes two or three tries until I'm happy to publish a new meme. And with all the discussions here, it's easy to come up with new ideas.

I heard an adage once along the lines of:

Bad photographers take a lot of bad photos and a few good ones. Good photographers take a lot of good photos and a few bad ones. Great photographers take a lot of photos and only ever show you the best ones.

I must have become one of the greats because I have been taking thousands of photos a week for months and haven't published a single fucking one

And brother let me tell ya I am on the very edge of my seat waiting for your first picture to drop 'cause that shit's gonna be straight fire 🔥

Well as it turns out I did publish a photo today and this is it.

Definitely a template issue. If the focus is the legal action being wrong, yet used, it should be the meme template where the guy becomes employee of the month instead of getting the YEET of the month

[–] Mango@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago

This meme works the other way around.

[–] cron@feddit.org 4 points 2 months ago

Thanks to @knolord@lemmy.world for inspiring this meme with his comment from yesterday.
