The vegan place to discuss things.

Veganism is a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals.

The reddit comments are so angry and pathetic (as is to be expected, I guess).

Vegans want to BAN meat and people WILL DIE.

Calm down, I just want you to think about what you are doing and then maybe stop?

Also it’s a matter of relative difficulty. If you can’t master your own food cravings, what makes you think you’re cut out to not only fight a revolutionary war, but also to stay level-headed enough through the process to avoid the terrible outcomes that most revolutions have?

Like, if you can’t drive to work without yelling at other drivers who cut you off, how can you sit on a tribunal and expect to me out actual justice to a bunch of prisoners who were shooting at you the day before?

oh hey that's me!
