Fascists always try to purge those they perceive to be less fascist than themselves.

State Rep. John LaHood, R-Valdosta, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that after he finished speaking he went to mingle with the crowd when activist Sam Carnline of Cairo confronted him with his concerns that a series of election-related measures weren’t strong enough.

It's not even that the guy is against what this freak wants. It's that the freak wants even more. The amount of harm that the orange shithead has caused this country is immeasurable.

“I informed Brandon that he instigated the incident by spitting on Carnline,” the officer wrote in the report. “Both parties agreed to separate and go their separate ways with no further law enforcement action needed.”

A cop wouldn't let an assault suspect just walk away at a campaign rally for anyone who wasn't a conservative. Everyone involved would be in cuffs.

I'm anxiously awaiting for maga-land to actually, robustly turn on one another, but, based on historical cults and authoritarian movements, it usually doesn't fully internally combust until the leader dissolves, so it's probably going to be a while.

[–] SidewaysHighways@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Can we dissolve him? Like in water? At least he wouldn't be orange
