duckduckgo also served me up this absolutely deranged article, probably written by a language model, about a film called 'Space Movie 1992' starring Kevin Bacon about a crew of a space freighter that have to intervene in an alien war, that i am just about 100% certain has never existed. apparently it's a hugely influential bit of cinema history though. the image at the top does appear to be from the blaxploitation film the OP is pointing everyone to though.
