The Highlander series slapped.
I legit didn't know it was a movie when I was younger until like the third time I saw a rerun on the episodees with Connor in them. Was very confused, thought I kept missing episodes.
National Lampoon Animal House. It was called Delta House, but had some of the same characters and actors from the movie. I was so upset when it got cancelled that teen me even wrote a letter of complaint to the network.
I'll give a more recent one. What we do in the shadows. I feel at this point that the show is more popular than the movie was.

There was a single season sitcom in 1990 called Ferris Bueller. His sister was played by an unknown actress by the name of Jennifer Aniston.
