I mean, scientifically speaking, do you have any meta-analysis about imaginary cow rotationism?

Unless you suffer from aphantasia, that is.

Lol not everyone can do that though.

Yup. A lot of people have trouble actually picturing stuff in their mind

Like I know what a cow looks like. I could paint one (badly but I think that's only kinda related). But I can't vividly imagine a cow

Hi, yes I have aphantasia too and can't picture things :) personally I remember being able to when I was younger but I lost the ability somewhere around my teens.

I'm sorry if this comes across as insensitively worded but...did you suffer any brain injury or anything when you were younger? Apparently we are now learning even just randomly hitting your head (not even hard) while the brain is still developing can have significant effects as you grow older.

I don't really recall anything, maybe a random bump, I used to be rather clumsy. In my early 20s I definitely suffered some trauma though.

Is that what a level 5 vegan is? You can't even imagine killing a cow.

But only if it is Polish

2 questions:
Does the cow want to be rotated?
And what about udder physics?

[–] toomanypancakes@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

First, imagine a spherical cow in a vacuum

[–] Chee_Koala@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

Now imagine it's you and the cow, sharing the vacuum.

Tylko jedno w głowie mam

[–] voodooattack@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

cries in aphantasia

[–] timewarp@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

They can also rotate dogs and cats. Not much difference between rotating a cow in your mind vs a dog or cat.

[–] Crackhappy@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Well only one of them takes a swipe at you every time though.

You push the beans & they get means

When you picture a cow rotating in your mind; is it doing front flips? Backflips? Barrel rolls? Pirouettes?

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

Well now an imaginary cow is pissed at me thanks

Easy as an STL in your favourite slicer.

Funny enough - ever checked out Redefine Meat's "New Meat" logo? It's a upside down cow...
