This is funny, but It's not about women's bodies. It's about creating desperation among those they exploit.

Its about keeping the poor the pliant, submissive playthings and capital batteries of the owners.

In addition to making women desperate with children they can't afford, the unwanted child will almost never have any option but to labor for the owner class. The more desperate the peasants are, the less they'll accept for their exploited labor.

The Federalist Society that now owns our Judicial branch is nothing less than an arm of our owner class.

The owners also love to use their media machine to turn every conceivable demographic against one another so we never look up at our common enemy. Women and men should be angry at just about everything the SCOTUS is doing, both for themselves and their children.

The women on the court, and the affluent women this court represents the interests of don't consider peasant women that have to suffer these rulings to be human at all. Socioeconomic status at the true owner level transcends all other conflicts, because it either creates or greatly exacerbates all of them. Just ask Clarence Thomas.

They can propagandize the races/sexes/religious followings to beat eachother to death with their media machines, but whether we get our shit together and fight the owners, or keep taking the bait and beating on one another as they laugh, the conflict is the tiny class of owner capitalists vs. Everyone else.

It's not not about women's bodily autonomy, though. 👩😠

Completely fair.

My point is while the decision might please the poor trailer park misogynists and religious zealots, and the fight between women and them is stoked by for profit media to keep the peasants divided, the court made that decision to further the long term economic interests of the owners concerned with their nepo babies not having enough cattle to exploit.

It was done in the interest of greed for our owners. Women being angry at laughing trailer park misogynists and religious zealots might be cathartic, but people like Warren Buffett are the ones it was done for.

You're not wrong, though.

That's part of it, yes

But there is also a hardcore contingent to which controlling women is the goal. Theocratic Fascists tend to be that way.

These are dark times, for our species and the living world that spawned us.

Mmmm. Well. Yeah.

Still - y’know. There’s uh, like, . . cookies and. Things. Cold drinks. There’s hope.

I rarely browse 'all' and usually stick to my eye bleach communities. Decided to venture into 'all' this evening, and of course this would be in the top of the feed.

Back to my curated cats, puppies, and houseplants I go. 🤣

It's ok to feel despair at our political climate, and it's ok to try avoiding bad news when your mental health can't accept the burden. But never forget that the ultra wealthy (you probably call one of them 'boss') are fundamentally opposed to the things that would make your life better.

Just be careful not to downvote anything.
