I kind of take issue with the statement “we have more trees than ever” which is almost certainly not true and glosses over the colossal destruction of many types of forest habitats that has occurred and is occurring.

But yes grasslands are also good in regions where forests can’t grow.

But personally I think a savanna or woodland-like environment is going to be the best one for the vast majority of urban areas.
