Damn what's up with that guy

[–] MindTraveller@lemmy.ca 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

On the one hand he got banned from Hexbear so he's probably a good guy, but on the other hand he was a mod on Hexbear so he must be a right wing dipshit.

blob-no-thoughts Anyone to the left of me must be a right wing troll.

Hexbear users aren't trolls and their personas aren't leftist. They're literally just reactionary conservatives claiming that reactionary conservative positions are left wing. Watch them defend capitalist Russia as though the Berlin Wall never fell, watch them deny genocide of Uyghurs, watch them say not to vote so that Trump can win the presidency and bomb the west bank. Then watch them call their capitalist, genocidal, zionist positions left wing.

I don't think they're being dishonest about the content of their political views, I think their reactionary, borderline fascist positions are entirely genuine.

And also, there's nobody to the left of a soulist like me. http://soulism.net. If there were, I'd agree with them.

That's right, the explicitly non-sectarian left unity instance with a supermajority of non-cishet users that aggressively bans transphobia, homophobia, racism, antisemitism, ableism and other bigotry is actually full of reactionary right wing fascists. What a sober analysis.

Funny thing is, the person you're replying to also called the uyghur genocide a us psyop, so... I don't think they see the problems you're seeing

Watch them defend capitalist Russia as though the Berlin Wall never fell

[citation needed] Literally ZERO Hexbears are confused about Russia being a capitalist state.

watch them deny genocide of Uyghurs

Indeed, watch me deny US psyop bullshit. The US tried to foment division in China by funding and organizing terrorist cells in Xinjiang, and once those efforts failed, it concocted and promoted a genocide narrative. Antony Blinken is still pushing this slop, just a few weeks ago.

.

genocidal, zionist positions

jesse-wtf What are you even talking about? brainworms

Is Pluto also the name of the underworld like how Hades is both the god and the underworld?

[–] MisplacedAstronaut@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago

In ancient Greek religion and mythology, Pluto was the ruler of the Greek underworld. The earlier name for the god was Hades, which became more common as the name of the underworld itself. Pluto represents a more positive concept of the god who presides over the afterlife.
