The former chair of an anti-abortion committee in Alabama was arrested last week on charges of sexual abuse of a child younger than 12, according to the Alabama Political Reporter.

Marty Decole “Cole” Wagner, 32, was the chair of the Alliance for a Pro-Life Alabama, as well as an Alabama Department of Education employee in government relations. He has since been fired from the DOE position.

It would be excellent if someone put together some detailed statistics to illustrate just how stupid the "any non-cis person is a molester" argument is.

it doesn't need it. Anyone convinced by the argument will not be dissuaded by mere proof.

Sadly, its likely the only resolution is for them to meet with community groups regularly and form a relationship with LGBTQIA+ people that slowly changes their world view through lived experience.

I get your point and I totally see how often it feels like the other side is a lost cause, but I can say firsthand as someone who used to believe stupid shit, facts and evidence are compelling for some.

If people are aborting their kids who will he molest? Won't someone let him "think of the children"?

"Down with aborting, do more deporting!"

"We love protesting and child molesting!"

The Texan family values chant

If you kill all those babies, then who is he going to abuse?

You're literally taking his babies away.

You can't molest a child that was never born.

This guy never met a kid he didn't "like-like".

"A younger than 12 in Alabama is the same as 18+ everywhere else" - This Guy

I'll stop.

Sounds like somebody needs to stop being a hypocrite and let his village stone him to death in public.

Every accusation is an admission. It works like that for every bad guy. Look at the IDF.

Every accusation is an admission.

Literally every single time with conservatives. Eg. when they accuse us trans folks of being groomers and pedophiles, the reality is this:

Any bets on whether they were related? That'd be like an Alabama conservative bingo right there
