Yeah I'm not surprised. Probably best for both parties at this point. He's not going to unseat Saka, and he's now below Trossard, and even Martinelli and Vieira on the right flank pecking order. And we are actively looking to bring in another dedicated right winger.

it's a pity, the situation for Nelson, Smith-Rowe, Nketiah, and Vieira. especially when one considers that longer cup runs would have benefitted them all.

i do hope they all go on to have fulfilling careers wherever they end up going.

I think ESR is different. He just needs(ed) time. But with Eddie and Nelson, they just failed to push on. Vieira isn't even in that category. He never looked good enough
