It's always fun when you get to actually see someone become one of today's lucky 10,000.

Very popular song in certain circles.

You can find the Rammstein fan in any crowd by just yelling out "DU". It's the metalhead version of Marco Polo.

Anyone remember Rammstein's frontman's sexual assault allegations?

[โ€“] Voroxpete@sh.itjust.works 7 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

The charges were dropped for lack of evidence.

I'm not even Garman or a real Rammstein fan but whenever I hear Du Hast my mind goes into Rammstein mode like Pavlov's dogs.

The irony that there is a German pop song by Beatrice Egli called "Du, du, du"

Just saw that you brought up the "charges were dropped" argument. That doesn't proof anything besides, well, a lack of evidence. And even if their actions aren't criminal here, they sure are morally questionable.

For me, the whole metoo movement around that topic made it very clear just how messed up that band really is (even thogh the music seemed great). The band didn't adress the drama in a nice way aswell, sending cease and desist letters to people telling their story (reference

Yes, it doesn't prove anything. I never claimed it did. A lack of conviction is not proof of innocence, just as an accusation is not proof of guilt. Do with the information whatever you wish.

Do you think they're of the same weight?

I think you're welcome to look at the available evidence and come to whatever conclusion you come to. I'm not telling you or anyone else how to feel about this.
