Lay-lah. At least that's how we pronounce it here (the Balkans). It's a Muslim name around here, Bosnian. But, I don't really give AF, I like the name (not Muslim BTW).

My son's name is Ilin, which is pronounced Eileen in English, and mine is Yane (written as Jane), so you could imagine setting up a date with Eileen and Jane in the US and two guys show up 😂.
