I had some crocs for a time and they are just a firm foam clog. they are comfortable but i never felt that they were so comfortable to rave about.
perfect for the summer and walking about. great for the garden as well. Just do not leave them in the sun. learning from experience they shrink, curl up, and become unusable.
i donβt really like that original croc look, but i think at the moment it is a popular one to choose. i prefer their other styles.
overall
i donβt have really specific reasons to not get them other than preference of look/style.
I don't know about international prices but here in Germany, they're anything but cheap. Looking on their website, most shoes are close to or more than 50β¬. I wouldn't exactly call that cheap for what they are.
You can buy the dollar store no name brand versions for 2~4$
in the US i see them ranging from $20 to $50. however i am looking on Amazon and not their own website. at 50 I agree they would not be worth it
