I just wanted to make this little post to say that after losing my previous permadeath save after 12 hours, I persisted, and made it to the center on my second attempt.

I kind of cheesed it though, thanks to the teleporter on the anomaly, and a guy named Jeff Pesos who happened to have a base one hop away from the galaxy's center.

I did manage to do this on the Playstation many years ago, but I recently got back into the game on PC and wanted to 100% it.

Anyway, that's it, thanks Jeff Pesos!

I'm currently working on the same. About 550k from the galaxy center atm. Just hopping every 2k in my freighter or warping through wormholes.

Damn, you've got more patience than me! How many jumps do you think that's going to take you?

Around 200ish probably? I need to upgrade my freighter to have more jump range still. Wormholes only seem to move me around 3k-5k ly closer to the core each time. Already got several sentinel ships with about 1k range and am working on getting a living ship rn

You can do it! I once did 200+ jumps in Elite Dangerous just so that I could discover a new star and put my name on it.
