For example, people on Reddit asking redundant questions and give equally redundant or unhelpful answers.

Whenever every 'What's the worst show you've seen?' is asked, you'll get 10,000 "Kardashians" answers, which is just easy karma farming.

If someone posts in a community that's geared for something like opinions, but someone elects to just go on a full scale rant instead.

Dumb. Lies should be deleted not debated. It takes too much energy to refute lies. That's why fascists lie all the time. People acting in bad faith, deliberately lying, should not have a platform in a democracy.

Determining when someone is acting in bad faith or deliberately lying is often much easier said than done

Easy for me but then I went to school for many many years.

I don't know, once every court to hear Trump's bogus election challenges threw them out for lack of evidence, seems pretty easy to know the election denialists were proven liars. Ban them all at that point.

Let science, peer review, and the law decide, case by case.
