The Nazis persecuted gays and sent them to concentration camps.
and the Allies left them there
The English chemically castrated the guy who broke the Nazi codes that let us win the war, he killed himself over it and England took 60 years to say "my bad".
Say his name! Alan Turing!
There's some doubt over that. Accidental inhalation due to some of the lab equipment in his room has some compelling arguments too. The wikipedia article has the details.
Any link to article or search keywords?
Alan Turing. Yes. That Alan Turing.
Ah damn, No link required
The personal life section of the Alan Turing wikipedia article
The imitation game had such a good portrayal of it... I've known the story for a long time, but Benedict Cumberbatch really made it hit home
Why do people keep saying this bullshit lol.
Allies weren't leaving gays in concentration camps. Persecution at home is an entirely different story.

....? So your response to "look how fucked Nazis are" is "so are others'"? So confused why this is upvoted.
Its getting upvoted because it illustrates that sometimes the "goodguys" are actually really awful too and you shouldn't trust them just because they are against the "badguys".
Now noticing who I'm replying to it is almost self parody that you in particular missed this point.
I could sort of get the point (which is obvious), it's just that the comment almost sounds like "the Nazis weren't even as bad".
This is cryptic, care to elaborate?
Maybe it was sex camps because they like it so much.
Eh this is pretty distasteful, they were murdered, gassed, and starved to death.
