Not voting for RFKjr but technically he was nominated by the American independent party

Right, which is not a party that is representative of all independants. In fact, by labeling it a party, they are no longer independent, they are, you know, a party.

By that logic, the Green party is an "independent" party.

Think of it from this perspective. Bernie Sanders is an independent. Here is how Wikipedia defines it: it:

"An independent, non-partisan politician or non-affiliated politician is a politician not affiliated with any political party or bureaucratic association."
