Alright everybody, let's make the Switch 2 the next WiiU.
No purchases, no recommendations to relatives. If anyone you know asks if you think they should get one for their kids for Christmas: nah it's basically just the switch but WAY more expensive.
Historically video games boycotts do not work
Unfortunately true. The majority of people do not have enough of a spine, or simply don't even care. That's why the market gets shittier and shittier each year for the past couple decades.
I remember the Hogwarts Legacy one, oof.
I remember Modern Warfare 2 boycott of 2009. That was one of the biggest shit shows you could imagine.
But that one was kinda idiotic and the most toxic people on this planet where in favor of it. So guess that fail was predictable.
No, tell them to buy a Playstation instead. They are direct competitors and will be super fucking annoyed by that.
Steam deck is probably the best alternative.
I mean thats basically a handheld PC
Sony is customer-hostile shit too, though. I've been boycotting them for literally decades now.
I know, but the "buy a pc" thing usually doesn't work well on people that consider Nintendo garbage.
