See where it all went downhill.
The only great Star Wars film to come out since the original trilogy was Rogue One. It is the only one have watched more than once.
Even The Mandarlorian is just good, not great.
I wholeheartedly agree. The prequels are funny in a campy way but they don't really feel like Star Wars. And the sequels feel like a parody of the original trilogy rather than actually building on them. Rogue One feels like it fits perfectly into the original trilogy.
Andor. Not a film, but better than The Mandalorian.
Is this kind of direct attack needed?
It's something to say that a movie is good or bad according to you (it's usually a matter of personal preference), it's something else to tell people they have bad taste.
That's the line we draw, yes.
You can say that according to you, the original trilogy are the worst movie ever made, that's your opinion.
Going around telling people they have bad taste seems like a different kind of statement.
The line is thin, and there is definitely room for improvement, but that's where we are right now.

Yeah rogue one was ass too, and the mandelorian was okay untill they decided that it's actually the baby yoda cringe show.
