Wouldn't printing horizontal add more stability to the print? Seems like you'd shear this off.
Yeah, the main shaft ( 😥🤤 ) would have gained stability from being horizontal, but the bottom has an awkward bridge with a nub on it that would possibly need supports. Also the tip is a bit smoother off-the-bed with concentric rings than with stacked layers on supports, so those things benefit.

It feels pretty sturdy, but it probably wouldn’t be hard to snap if I wanted to. I saw some other designs that printed the stylus in separate pieces, which would probably give the best final quality.
You could print it horizontally in ABS and then smooth it with acetone vapour.
