I have a confession to make. Sometimes when I'm cooking something in the oven/air fryer and it says to turn at half way... I don't. And it's fine.

I only turn half the chicken nugs in the air fryer because What you think I'm stupid? I'm not part of your system, I'M AN ADULT โ™ซ

I usually turn things in the air fryer since the heat comes from the top and I don't want it to burn, but in the oven I only turn things if I'm particularly worried about coming then right, like a roast chook or something

I'm the opposite. I generally turn things in the oven because where they sit on the metal tray (particularly if there is some oil) tends to get hotter and so it is more evenly cooked/browned when I turn it. Whereas the air fryer has air movement all around it so tends to cook more evenly, so I only turn that if I put it on a solid surface that restricts airflow.
