Nah. This is typical Melbourne autumn weather. There was no sunshine today so maybe that's why it felt cold. I know this because my birthday is at the start of June and that's cold.

Same birthday month, I remember the first time I spent it in Melbourne I was in tears and morose because of how dreadfully cold and miserable I was at the time... But I just thought autumn would ease in a bit more, not go straight into 6 consecutive days of gloom.

You know how there's a gap period between using your fan and your heater? That's autumn for me, particularly April. When you don't need either. Today I was this close to using the heater the whole day, and I feel like I barely put my fans away.

Hello fellow gemini! Every year I say "shit, last week I had the fan on and this week I'm contemplating putting the heater on". Trust me 46 years in this city, this is normal autumn.

Today wasn't cold. But it was grey and miserable.
