So far? Lemmy is filled with Russian shills. I hope we outnumber them soon.
Joining communities is very counter-intuitive. They are spread around and I ended up joining lemmy.ml communities exclusively, from another instance.
We could use much more space for the text, so far the text is way too concentrated in the middle of the screen in a narrow column.
Now on the content I'm rather satisfied. It's still a bit low in volume and if you compare to reddit it's really small, but we will catch up soon. We should lower our expectations and start building anew.
Ah, the good ole everybody challenging the western propaganda narrative against Russia is a secret Putin shill. I can see Reddit is leaking, already.
Oh, look, you have an opinion about tiananmen, what a surprise!
It sure sounds like you do as well
As I click your history I see that you have pages and pages of allegations about the tiananmen events.
I'm not surprised, what I'm surprised about is to find people like you in the main instance of lemmy. I thought that they were contained into the lemmygrad sub but I was wrong, you somehow made your way to the mainstream meeting point.
I have no intention of discussing with the chinese Fox News.
Do you not know what the ml in lemmy.ml is supposed to mean? It's Marxist-Leninist. This is a general purpose instance, but it was made by "tankies" as you'd probably call them.
I have nothing against marxists leninists, I have somethings against compulsory liars. There are plenty of them on the internet.
What lies? Pushing back against western propaganda isn't lying.
cool.
Lol, imagine being criticized for 'having an opinion'. If that doesn't tell me all I need to know about you.
Excellent then! Please expose to us your opinion about the tiananmen events. We are listening. Don't be shy.
You stupid? My comment history is right there.
Edit: Aw. Don't get butthurt, homie. Lol. Tool.
Ok, remember that I gave you a fair chance to express yourself. Bye.
Can confirm. I am sitting on so many rubles right now it's crazy. You are definitely not the victim of a thought terminating brainworm.
Hey it's good to hear constructive feedback. Perhaps you would like to check out some communities on beehaw.org? They certainly fit my vibe but could be yours too. The important rule on there is to be nice to others in your interactions.
I like the layout of beehaw, but only see it in a browser? Is there an app? (lurking baconit refugee asking)
@Che_Donkey Jerboa is good, if you are on Android.
There are only mobile apps so far, no desktop ones.
Jerboa is the main Android app rn (it's not perfect, there are a few things you can't use the app for)
Mlem is a iOS app in Testflight you can try. I hear it's adequate with the bare minimum functionality.
I'm really hoping RedReader gets the Lemmy update.
