i think you have bigger issues than just being a slob if that happened after only a week
Spiders are quick and opportunistic. They'll make a web like that in a few hours at most.
Since it's summer, fruit flies probably bred like crazy in the washer, and one lucky spider was there to feast.
The spider is a true bro, I might add.
