Log books, particularly logs where the owner paid for the service tell you that regular maintenance mattered to the owner. It's an indicator that the car has been cared for and looked after.
But they aren't everything. And their lack doesn't say that the owner didn't look after the car.
That's the thing with the second point, it's hard to decide whether it was just the owner being negligent or just looked after it in other ways.
However, adding onto the fact that it was an ex-auction car before this person bought it... and then left the country and has got her mum to handle selling it... is really adding up to some ???
