Is it possible to get a stick on Ring camera? I seem to remember a rental friendly option but then again I think you have to pay a subscription
Edit: You can also maybe use an old phone as a security camera but you'd have to hide it and it's not protected from weather. Game cameras don't let you see out there live which is what you want
I've actually been considering a ring for a while. Unfortunately it would be a little bit difficult as we probably wouldn't be allowed to hardwire it. Also since there'll be a few other people living here soon, everybody would want access to it which has some security implications as well
There's one I think that you didn't have to hard wire. But yeah there really should be more renter friendly security cameras. There's a need
I'm really skeptical of those because it seems like every week there's a new story about ring or other internet cameras being hijacked
I know, it sucks.
I only mentioned Ring because I think there was a wireless one where the mount stuck on rather than being drilled in and was battery powered rather than hardwired.
Blink by Amazon with double sided tape.
Oh damn, that looked good but support ended
