Before I learnt of Spotify I used to organise my music into "songs I like [year] edition" playlists. It worked well at first, especially with adblock, except since I had them in there to listen not watch I usually went for unofficial lyric videos just to avoid all the silence and noisy bits that come with music videos. That started going downhill when everybody started getting nuked by copyright claims. About half of them are either deleted or private now

I'm trying to take the Rage approach where I get the full video as unaltered as possible. That means generally getting the videos from the official channels so there should be no surprise privatisations
