Checking the Low Emission Zone in Malmö (And other cities in Sweden) it looks like vintage cars are excempted (older than 30yo). But I cannot find any details about this. Is it just all cars older than 30? Are there specific criteria for vintage cars in Sweden beyond the age, like specific registration in Germany.

In my case, a VW T3

Thanks for the reply! Didnt ser that the Vintage Exception is only for Class 2/3, bit weird though since class 3 is the strictest?

Klass 3 does not have an exception for 30year old vehicles

It seems the exception for vintage cars only applies in klass 2. There's no exception for vintage cars in klass 1 because klass 1 doesn't have any limitations for cars, only heavy trucks and buses.

Can't find a countrywide map, but do you need one? Klass 1 is fine for all cars. Klass 2 seems to exist only as a tiny zone in central Stockholm and nowhere else, and your T3 is probably allowed there anyway. Klass 3 would have been a problem for you but doesn't seem to exist anywhere.
