Im wondering what the salmacian and intersex population is in the fediverse, and whether we should make new communities? I really miss all the great resources from reddit :(

Just to clear things up preemptively: salmacian≠intersex, i just happen to be both so I'm including both labels in one post! <3

I'll check it out! unfortunately, previously on reddit, the altersex, salmacian and intersex communities were a bit at odds due to the sensitive topic of identity vs. condition, but hopefully we can come together this time around.

If you subscribe, then others on your instance should then be able to find it easier I think.

I think for lemmy, you have to search "!altersex" to find a community that hasn't been subscribed to yet. Old posts won't show up at first unfortunately.

hmm okay im still new here, so maybe I'm just missing something, but I cant find the altersex community through the slrpnk.net instance.

Have you tried writing (your instance url)/c/altersex@kbin.social on the address bar of your browser?

I think federation is still wonky and has delays in it. Was having a similar issue with another community.
