Whenever I'm thinking about posting a question in Lemmy I always get this feeling that not as many people will see it if I posted it instead on Reddit.

But again, the low quality of reddit posts always reassures me that I miss nothing

I'd rather have a few, legitimate answers to a question than a bunch of goobers replying "I don't know" in so many words, which is what Reddit had been the last 5 years or so.

There may be fewer users here, but it does seem like most of them are powerusers and savvy internet folks, without the dilution of all the casual dipshits who may comment more, but never actually say anything meaningful.
