If you think about it, it's pretty ridiculous that private corporations manufacture our most high tech weapons
Not even the part where it creates lobbyists that want war, but just the national security aspect of it.
Besides healthcare, the military industrial complex is something that should never be privatized even in hyper capitalist countries.
So your saying the government should own the the military industrial complex? Kind of like how it is in China? Then there would be no competition or growth. We would have to be like China and make copies of other country's tech and ideals.
Yeah bro, everyone remembers the 1960s when NASA made zero innovations...
That it wasn't their budget being slashed intentionally that space was handed off to captialist corporations...
That it hasn't already started to bite us in the ass where people like Musk are in charge of satellite communication and he hasn't been working with Putin..

Hope you realize that even back then NASA was contracting out to the likes of Boeing and Lockheed Martin to help develop their spacecraft
For some things, but on the other hand a lot of development was done at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory
