They've been actively participating in the Israel/Gaza conflict, so they've probably been on alert for months.

US claims Kataib Hezbollah likely operating out of Jordan has been responsible for as many as 20 attacks since October, although to be fair the officials of Jordan seem slightly less aggressive as they prevented the citizens from burning down the Israeli Embassy in Jordan.
